Rohit Sharma & Suresh Raina are useful part timers, but Dhoni never used them

In helpful conditions where the pitch was turning, especially in India, he did use them.

Raina is probably the best parttimer in India if such a benchmark exists....to bad he is a piss poor test batsman and now his LOI form has gone down too.....I still think he is a must for T20's where there is only 1 shortball per over allowed

There's a change in cricketing culture. The 90's were a decade that encouraged such bowler to develop (SL and Ind esp). Moreover, this was the last decade of the dibbly-dobbly wibbly-wobblies. Most cricketers who grew up playing cricket in the mid to late 2000s have completed shelved this aspect.

If we have to improve as a ODi side, we need part time bowlers

Kohli, dhawan , rahane doesnt bowl. I had hopes from rohit's bowling after hsi ipl hattrick but looks like he didnt work on it much

Raina yes he is a gud option, but with his batting form if he doesnt find a place in side. We looks srsly short of bowlers

Since top order doesnt bowl , we need a batsman who cud give us 6-7 overs

Options- Mann, Raina, Deepak Hooda, Yuvraj singh.

Yuvraj singh was pretty smart bowler. Dont knw y he doesnt bowl as much now. Hooda again i dnt knw y he hasnt bowled much this season.

Among new crop of batsman- Baba aprajith n karun nairs bowls in Domestic, Shreyas gopal can be an intersting ques but his  batting cnt get him in side. Unmukt, Iyer doesnt bowl as well.
