And agreed he fits in the team balance, with his useful bowling option, and wealth of experience, and enough hitting ability still leftover. Just can't expect a 30 ball 70 like the 2007 Semifinal against Oz. We will need a handful of such innings from the team if we are to go deep in this tournament...
asterix Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 It was atrocious to allow CM Momota continuing her election campaign in an ICC event. It was shameful of CAB to have all these showbazi in a league match... Might've resulted in reduced overs. I agree India Pak matches are high voltage but this is too much hype... Every TV channel hyping it to cash in and TRPs...The pitch was pathetic. The ball spinning square in the initial overs itself. These are sub standard pitches as far as ICC events goes. ICC should investigate about the pitches and about that election campaign ceremony. Adi_91, sandeep and Ultimate_Game 3
goose Posted March 20, 2016 Author Posted March 20, 2016 A T20 wicket will either turn ball one or not all. You can't engineer a 'deteriorating' wicket in T20 like you you can in a five day test. sandeep 1
sandeep Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 People don't seem to realize that the rain and dampness made the ball grip and turn more than expected - that was not an intentional outcome...
Debutant Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 People don't seem to realize that the rain and dampness made the ball grip and turn more than expected - that was not an intentional outcome...People need to whine and cry conspiracies when ever India wins. So don't bother being rational and produce facts to them
HippoSucks Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Maybe 2017 CT.I forgot that Pakistan managed to qualify for that.

But Yuvi looked horrible out there. If we lose, it will be on the openers and his failure. And a spectacular catch that dismissed the one in-form hitter we had - Hardik Pandya.
goose Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 No i missed his knock but caught most of the game. Wish Dhoni would give him an over or two, think it would help his batting. Mohali and hopefully Mumbai should better suit his game.

Giving him an over or two won't change it. I repeat... he's not out of form but plain old. Even if we had sent a bowler up the order instead of Yuvraj, we would have scored 150.
