Nicholas Pooran - upcoming West Indies batsman for T20

Upcoming WI  batsman who's a great for T20's. Can hit sixes with ease and hits them clean too.  Can keep as well but that's not his forte so far.  Very good buy for T20 franchises to punt on him

He had a real good season the inaugural year of CPL also but disappeared after.  Definitely a talent, let's see how he develops.

Pooran seems Indian origin player, so, not a west Indian.

He is a citizen of Caribbean. So technically a West Indian.

Glad, we are not playing T20s in this tour. The ghosts of WT20 SF is still fresh in the mind.

I've been following the CPL and this guy has been pretty impressive. Like the OP mentioned, he's such a clean striker of the ball and he does hit the ball quite a long way even for a typical West Indian.

I still remember his gr8 innings at u-19 level, the guy looked apart back then only
