Now by the Quota system they can play Tahir,Amla and Rabada....Duminy is not too bad.....but once these players go out they might have to play the Matsyakaneri and Masakadza types Bavuma too. He is good. maniac 1

beautifulgame Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Maybe short term gain for long term benefits .Who knows ? SA football and Rugby are mainly black /coloured players and both are pretty decent standard . Maybe this will bring more participation of black population who are significant majority in the country .Probably SA people who knows their issues will know better . Either way this is much better than unofficially enforcing that quota rule .
Tibarn Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 South Africa's economy has been more of less stagnating since 2008, although it became the 2nd largest in Africa. However, they have a new communist party, the Economic Freedom Fighters, that advocates nationalizing industry and the white minority relinquishing economic power. To add to this, the white population, particularly the young, of SA has been migrating due to opportunities in Europe and racial violence in SA. So the country is going through a turbulent period both socially and economically. In cricket terms, this would discourage white South Africans from playing cricket, and would push them toward migration to the UK to play cricket. I wonder if the Irish and Netherlands cricket teams could use the SA talent to improve their teams and rise more rapidly to Full Member status. Rasgulla, sscomp32, Vilander and 1 other 4
