This comes after the board of directors of Cricket South Africa (CSA) last week approved the decision to introduce targets for all national teams.

“In the past we had never set targets in our national teams but with changing circumstances we feel it is essential to move with the times,” CSA president and chairperson of the board, Chris Nenzani, said last week.

This will only weaken the SA cricket team. We need strong teams to make cricket more competitive and interesting for the fans. This will lead to a white flight to other countries. Pathetic move by SA cricket board.

Yes they come under coloured players. Restrictions apply only on white players. 

You can even count amla as white because he is whiter that other asians but he comes under asians and is exempted.

I think Zim 2.0 accusations are way off the mark....Zimbabawe has gone through economic collapse. SA is stable.

 

You look at SA is rugby and lots of black and coloured players have come through.

They are lucky that Rabada is an automatic choice...back in the day they had Gibbs and Ntini.

 

Now by the Quota system they can play Tahir,Amla and Rabada....Duminy is not too bad.....but once these players go out they might have to play the Matsyakaneri and Masakadza types
