I think Right Now, India and Pakistan will do slightly better in Eng, Aus as compared to Eng, Aus doing in sub-continent/UAE

After SL/Aus, Ind/WI, Pak/Eng series... possible ranking can be

England have so many all-rounders, they may be able to put up good scores in Asia. They can play an 11 with only 1 tailender(Anderson)

If they decide to drop Anderson and play the other of Vince/Balance, they could actually have a lineup where all 11 can bat. Cook and Root, to a lesser extent, have shown they can bat in Asia, so the others have batsmen to play around. The only question is if Rashid and Ali are good enough to take enough wickets between them in a match.

If Pakistan wins this series,they should climb up to No.1..Only team that defeated England at home was SA..All the flat pitches talk aside,it is great to even compete with England who play so many home games and prioritize the test matches.

There is no test team nowadays that  dominates in most playing conditions and gives a good fight in conditions that are tough for them.
