In the other three innings he bowled first change. Pretty unfair to compare with Bhuvi who's going to open the bowling more or less every time he is played. Yadav wasted the new ball in Antigua. Yes, disappointing that Bhuvi couldn't get wickets today, but if you watched his bowling you would know he didn't waste the new ball.
sandeep Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Windies win 2 sessions today. Arguably they won 2 yesterday. India need wickets. Tomorrow is a new day. I think they went to the short ball a bit too late in the day. Start with that early tomorrow with Shami and let's see if we can pick one up early.

WI can get bat all the way to the tail......I mean to put it in a different perspective their 1 to XI fluctuates between tail and good batsmen depending on their mood....so a lead of 200 and the way our team folded especially the lower order,I am a bit worried

Don't worry. Its either an Indian win or Draw from here unless we completely lose the plot tomorrow. Which I dont think is happening. I think Indian bowlers bowled better today for zero wickets than they did on D5 @ Sabina Park.

Yes, he hasn't picked up a wicket (yet) but he's doing all right. 8 quality overs so far. I saw till 1:45 Am mid night last night. Bhuvi has improved his pace and he bowled between 126 to 140K yesterday and his line n length was immaculate. His magical SWING was missing even in his first SPELL. if he does not get his banana swing in his first first 5 overs .. he becomes an easy line n length medium pacer/trundler. There is a huge difference in physique/pace /attitude of Umesh and Bhuvi. bhuvi is better in a t20 and ODI where as Umesh is better in TESTS. PLease Understand this Umesh will be BACK in the Next TEST. Mosher, tweaker and express bowling 3
vishalvirsingh Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Umesh will replace BHuvi in the next TEST and Mishra may replace Jadeja. I will not be surprised if Murli Vijay or Pujara replaces Rohit too. tweaker 1
sandeep Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Some of you kids are expecting "banana" swing as if a bowler is supposed to be moving the ball exhorbitantly in any conditions. It doesn't quite work that way. Bhuvi was moving the ball both ways. And beat the bat even in his 2nd spell. If you watched his bowling and still feel that Yadav bowled better than that, then I don't know what to tell you.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

This was a great spell. Umesh took 4 wickets in a spell in first test. Bhuvnesh will play next test and bcos of this spell he out bowled shammi and ishant. B4 this spell he was behind them.
vishalvirsingh Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Bhuvnesh is a cobra with the new ball. He is a master of swing along with praveen kumar. By chance that spell of 6 to 7 overs is played by opposition bhuvnesh becomes an average pacer. My respect to bhuvna has increased. Still I wud play umesh ahead as he swings too.
