Rohit sharma vs Ahmed Shehzad vs Umar akmal vs Shaun marsh in Test. Talent is such a misleading word.

All 4 were pinned as Potential greats for their teams. They were heaped and praised by legends. All of them had flair and that x-factor for international cricket.They all have done well in Loi's infact Rohit sharma is the backbone of Odi team and Akmal played splendor innings in many T20 cups time n again.  Rohit n Umar had high praises from tendulkar. Marsh had a legacy to continue and some foolish people called Ahmed shehzad more talented than  Sachin.All of them even had good starts to their career and yet all of them are struggling to find places in team and even when they get chance the struggle continous. They all have their fans and critics. As we can see they have played quite a number of test and have'nt done well yet teams keep persisting with for their so called ability. 

 

Overall perfomance-

1. Shaun marsh -  17 test, 30 inngs, 1094 runs, 37.72 avg, 3 hundreds

2. Rohit sharma - 17 test, 30 inngs , 905 runs, 32.22 avg, 2 hundreds

3. Umar akmal-  16 test, 30 inngs , 1003 runs, 35.82 avg, 1 hundred

4. Ahmed shehzad- 11 test, 21 innings, 861 runs, 43.05 avg, 3 hundred

 

Away perfomances

1. Shaun marsh -  8 test, 15 innings, 590 runs, 42.14, 2- hundreds ( One in Sa and one in SL)

2. Rohit sharma - 13 test, 24 innings, 591 runs, 25.69, 0 hundred

3. Umar akmal-  13 test, 25 innings, 943 runs, 41 avg, 1 hundred (one hundred in nz) 

4. Ahmed shehzad-  5 test, 10 inngs, 229 runs, 25.44 avg. 0 hundred

So whose the biggest disappointment among all???? Whom would you still want to persist with??? What do u think lacks in them despite such natural god gifted talent in them?????

We should leave them behind & move ahead.Pakistan has found this they have found a good player in Shami(opener in last test).

We should invest in Pandey,Iyer,Jadhav,Nair, for future series

if you look at his ranji stats they are similar to Rahane. Led mumbai to ranji title with the bat i do believe in 2008 if memory serves me right. Him Rahane and Kulkarni were major reasons for Mumbai ranji wins since 2007

1. He can make Kids go to bed early

2. He likes to poke every ball like he is playing some ODIs and he got to chase 300+

Only person to have not being dropped from squad despite so many failures. Dont remember anyone who was persisted this long .

A true test player he is , as he tests his captains patience and intelligence. Even pak has dumped akmal n shehzad and but talent continous his journey

Rohit Sharma is a world beater in LOI's I repeat World beater......This is like those Pakistani threads that  claim Anwar is better than Sachin or Afridi is better than Kapil Dev with selective stats.

To me, Shaun Marsh is the biggest disappointment. He is already 32-23 and doesn't have much time left.

They all are equally. With akmal n Shehzad i can understand as pakistan doesnt have batting culture like india doesnt have bowling. Also those guysgrow up  in a very indisciplined team environment which leads them to be same. In that way indian youngsters are lucky that our seniors have very disciplined have n helpful environment. Rohit is one the top Odi players but rest 3 are struggling every where.
