Good for SL. Dhoni and Hafeez should follow the same I guess and give chances to youngsters. Anyway All the Best Dilshan  A great fielder, great player to watch specially in ODIs and T20s. I Still remember he was in form during from 2009 to until 2011 WC. Once he was among top 10 players of all formats. He invented Dilscoop in 2009 T20 WC where young kids all around the world loved and followed his shot. But no body can play that shot so accurately like Dilshan straight over the keeper's head. I must say most of people from Pakistan loved 3 players in Sri Lanka that is Malinga,Sanga & Dilshan.

He smashed Indian bowlers rather Pakistani. I still remember he scored 160+ against India at Rajkot and 2255 ODI runs against India more than 1/5th of his total runs. Bunny of Dilshan is who???  Who hates him more???

One of the ATG ODI openers. Only R. Sharma (53), Amla (52), Tendulkar (48) and Lara (46) have better averages than him (>50 innings opening). Averages 46 when  opening, SR of 89, 21 centuries in 175 innings! (Last 132 innings resulted in 21 centuries). Genuine wicketkeeper, with unbelievable athleticism, useful off spinner and ATG fieldsman.

 

Only Jayasuriya ticks more boxes than this guy in SL cricket. Murali, Vaas, Sanga, Mahela and Aravinda are all behind him as matchwinners.
