With dhoni power skills going dow, yuvraj singh gone, raina becoming fat and lossing the plot i dnt see axar or jadeja at 7. That makes the lower order so week. As a second spinner jadeja is miles ahead of axar and so does he in fielding. Jadeja has even bowled better than ashwin in overseas many times. Axar has no place in the team.... When has Jadeja bowled so well overseas?

Both very dangerous in Odi so i would like him to start with test. I like Rajpoot to be given a shot in Odi before. Avesh khan would do really well with his line of attack in test, not sure about him in Odi Right now Sran n rajpoot should be our next line of ODI bowlers I am not talking about including Nathu Singh today. That was a team for the World Cup 2019, as I clearly stated. We won't anyway have many changes before the Champion's Trophy. After that, he maybe ready after one more full domestic season. Getting over his no-ball problems, which happens only in occasional matches, is not a big issue and comes with practice. Rajpoot averages 38 in List A and I have not seen him bowl yorkers consistently. Don't think he is better than Nathu for ODIs. Nathu can consistently bowl swinging, accurate yorkers at pace. That is a rare skill for LOIs. Even in his first domestic season last year, he picked up 14 wickets from only 9 List A matches and 21 wickets from only 11 T20s. Thats what i wrote that he is a good 2nd spinner and sometimes have done better than ashwin in overseas He was playing ahead of ashwin in this yr Ind-aus Odi series. His eco was 5.35 which is decent these days specially for a spinner in overseas. He might have not taken wkts but he didnt leak much of runs. Champions trophy, yes those pitches turned but the pitches were same for ashwin to. Jadeja took more wkts and had better eco In Wc also his eco was 5.3 again which is decent He was terrific in Ind-eng 2014 odi series. His eco was under 6 in Sa n Nz series also, which is decent. Ashwin eco was higher than 6 in SA. His eco outside india has been below 5. He doesnt take wkts but does leak to much runs to. Add his fielding n batting.
Unleashed Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 I feel that Hardik Pandya must be in the team going forward. I know he was dropped in the final match, but he has visibly improved his bowling and batting and seemed to have cut down on his theatrics. Can bowl 140km/h, great fielder and a decent bat. We've been crying out for this type of player for ages now. He'll be good in England too if the pitches are swing-oriented. Mosher, vishalvirsingh and express bowling 3
