There is no place for Rahane in the LOI Team

You know what..I think our superstar who scored a triple ton recently in test will be a damn good opener. Better than Rahane+dhawan+kl combined.

Other than Rishabh Pang, Mayank Aggarwal is another underrated LOI batsman. 

He was better batsman than QuintinKock in under 19 and won us matches single handedely,  but Kock got huge support from his captain even though Kock flopped big time in his initial 15 matches.

Everybody bar the selectors knows Rahane is useless in limited over cricket.

 

Too malnourished to play any big shots, aerial ones barely clear the in field. Not got the strength to hit boundaries consistently as relies on timing & placement.

 

If someone far more skilled like Laxman could not cut it then don't think Rahane can. Time to move on from this failed experiment. Its just getting sad now.

Mayank Agarwal's stats are actually pretty good. Definitely underrated in 50 over cricket.

Azhar Ali is much better in ODI.

 

rahane is more like VVS. Very similar ODI record, and perhaps Rahane is even worse ebcause he is batting in an era of higher averages and higher strike rates.

He's there in the T20 squad
