That record is due to the innings where he changes gears after he gets set. In powerplay he is not going to solve any issue.

Means on majority of days he will score 30-40 at a SR of 130-140. Thats pretty good.

Issue was powerplay wasn't it? Rohit is pathetic in powerplay. EOD.

The key batting positions are filled with Yuvraj and Dhoni, as long as they continue to play T20, India will struggle to set big scores.

Yuvraj still thinks he has ability of pre-2011, can plod around 10-20 dot balls then launch 4s and 6s, nowdays he can't even plod around, and if plod arounds for 10-20 balls, he continues to plod around for another 10-20 balls.

And Dhoni, well he has always been an average T20I player, maybe it is worth opening with him.

In setting big score in T20s, batting positions 4-6 you need batsmen who can muscles 6s instantly (maybe play around 3-6 balls), Pre-2011 Yuvraj, or these days...Dave Miller, AB De Villiers, Corey Anderson, Maxwell, Butler, Stokes,  Anyone from West Indies

You want to watch him make 60*(60) ?

I don't think selectors have balls to drop him, and with Dhoni slash and burn batting technique, it might come off during the 6 over power play. plus he is India's best puller, handy when opening in powerplays

Having him come down the order in T20s, he has limitations

We haven't been good at setting targets for 4 5 years now . Even when we won the WC we choked towards the en did innings every time we where asked to bat . This is been the problem for a while .
