Shakib Ul Hasan's attacking approach in this match,Right or Wrong?

Shakib is trying to hit the bowlers out of the attack here. Its a high risk approach when you are trying to save the test match. He was out similarly in the first innings.Trying to hit Ashwin out of the attack.

He is BD's seniormost and best player. Is he doing the right thing? How will this cavalier attitude reflect on the junior players?

As long as he picks and chooses his moments to attack, and importantly the right deliveries to do so, he's OK.  Live by the sword, die by the sword.  He knows his own game best, maybe this is his method.  Maybe he doesn't have the ability to pull off a block-athon.  It wasn't as if he was out there trying to give his wicket away...

Shakib does not have confidence in his technique n game and hitting out mindlessly shows it, Mushfiq is a proper batsmen in their side, cut his offside stroke play n he is clueless, India did not figure it out in first innings.

His attack was a sign of desperation not control or command

what Root tried to do at times. looks good till it last. some might say it is selfish where in the end you will look like a better player than your team mates but team suffers

India lost tests in Adelaide by trying to chase 364 in 87 overs on D5. Was that a good strategy? We could have played out 90 overs and rawn the test. Similar thing happened in Aukland, India lost by 40 runs where we could have drawn on the last day by playing out time. It is OK to approach this when the target is in sight, but not when they were so behnid the 8-ball.
