Lyon's overspin helps him get that extra bounce on this bouncy pitch.

 

On a slow and low turner, it will be interesting to see how he does.

Pune was hosting its first match.

 

In Bangalore before this, we have won 6 and lost 6. So yes it is comparatively much better for touring sides.

Even Dharamsala and Ranchi are first time Test venues. Why so many in 1 series ? I wonder who the genius at BCCI is who decided the venues ?

Yes it's mindless scheduling to say the least. One new venue would have been like Indore vs NZ but here we have 3/4 new venues.
