adi B
Good stat ,problem for yadav is that he never got a test match in nzl,saf and England where these other bowlers have almost toured twice and bettered their stats Mosher 1 Link to comment

express bowling
India was a struggling team in 2014 ... captain about to quit ... no experienced or settled pacers... too many chop and change in the pace attack. Our test team has performed consistently from mid 2015. I will post figures from this period. Mobile users please view stats in landscape more. sensible-indian
On stat sheets, all these numbers look good. Amazing spinners, good pacers... Solid allround attack. But in real games (overseas), our pacers are inconsistent. Sa prepared friendly tracks so our pacers ended up with good figures... If not, god knows how much they would hav averaged. We need to figure out how to build a pace attack that can be reliable. Shami is on and off. Ishant is soooo on and off. Umesh is on and off. Bhuvi looks consistent but hasnt played much on flatter surfaces even at home. Bumrah no real sample set. So dunno. Even today, stats will show that our pacers did an amazing job but in reality, they didn't. Ishant's one spell saved us. What's the solution for us? Link to comment

In reality the dopes in slips, especially that stupid Dhawan, need to take responsibility for shelling a dozen catches each series especially off pacers. Take your catches, you can't win away when you're barely taking 60% of the catches that come your way. Link to comment

sensible-indian
Seeing how English bowlers are bowling? I hate drop catches as much as anyone else but they are not an excuse for awful wayward bowling. Link to comment
