They should have picked Ashwin. Not just as a net bowler but also as headmaster to ensure teams play the game as per ICC rules and not self made ones. Now I hope he is extra active on social media during the Cup, especially to monitor Pak who are always on the lookout to play 'Dick Dastardly' moves.

Just to have some backup options ready to play right away in England and also be in the mix.

 

The experience they will gain just by being around in a WC will go a long way.

They can play A games any time in four years...WC comes only once. Especially Pant,Shaw and Gill who are almost sure starters for next WC

thats why we have taken backups and incases of more injury we can fly someone before next game.....

I think there are still some loopholes that BCCI can exploit. Hope it doesn't come to that. It means somebody is injured or India is collectively failing.
