Can Bengal be saved? How?

Some facts:

 

1. Demographic battle is lost, 30% peaceful population and their TFR is almost double that of the Hindu one. It is estimated that by 2061 Bengal will have 41% M pop  and majority in 9/19 districts. 

 

2. Political battle lost. 35 years of Left Front misrule, a decade of Mamata and her innings will go on. 30% committed votebank which votes tactically, 4 way split in Hindu vote (TMC, BJP, CPM, INC) and many dhimmis in majority community, hell some buddhijeevis have proposed the idea of Bengal seceding from India and merging with Islamic state of Bangladesh cos of Hindi/Hindutva, those who follow 9 pm news debates will know. And how elections are conducted in the state, the shameless large scale rigging, booth capturing, intimidation tactics, violence etc hardly a novelty....been like that since LF days and won't change methinks. EC conducted elections in 7 phases this time in Bengal with heavy CRPF deployment and still the same problems...a state like TN had its election in 1 phase and went smoothly despite fears of cash transfer to swing votes. 

 

3. Most cowardly police force in the world, even the central appointees get dhimmified in the system. Last brave cop was DCP Mehta and we know what happened on the day of Holi 1984 in Garden Reach. Now they do adda enjoying chaa-biskoot whilst a town is getting destroyed 150m away. A minor Hindu girl was kidnapped a couple of years back in a M-majority region in Kolkata and kept as hostage/sex slave by momins there...police refused to act even when the HC asked them to intervene....excuse was  communal harmony BS. 

 

4. Administration/police ok with mercilessly shooting a dozen Gorkha protesters dead but disappear when 6 trains are burnt to crisp by lungi/topi mobs.

 

5. Historically Bongs lose their balls when confronted by Islamists. Right from Bakhtiyar Khilji's takeover with a couple of dozen horsemen till this decade which saw over 2 dozen major communal riots, all hopelessly one-sided. Those who bring up the topic of freedom struggle revolutionaries, I am talking about "vs Muslims" here.

 

6. Expanding on the previous point, Hinduism dropped from 22% in 1951 to 8% now in East Pak/BD whilst in West Bengal M pop grew from 18% (1951) to 30% now. Note that despite being far from our NW from where invasions came, Bengal region got Islamized the maximum. Also longest uninterrupted Islamic reign in this part (modern day India...not incl Pak, Afg, BD). More recently 1905 Bengal partition, Direct Action Day, Noakhali, 1971 etc show what Muslims think of Hindus in this region. 

 

7. Bengalis slowly waking up to this crisis but not urgent enough. Intelligentsia still backing TMC, frowning upon national/dharmic concerns...many young & educated Bongs following suit. 

 

8. Bengali Hindus have always maintained peace. Never the aggressor in communal riots the last 50 years. Faith in judiciary, govts...shunning violence, belief in multiculturalism, secularism, unity in diversity and all that. Unlike Muslims they have stayed away from criminal activities, complete faith in due process of law. Illegal Muslims from BD would come in unchecked and no fear...Hindus would be law fearing and always trying to stay away from illegal activities. Look where it has got them !!!

 

Bengal sinking isn't just a state problem. It borders an Islamic country (known as Pakistan till 50 years back, only name changed) next door and link to NE. Clearly the state needs saving, how should Modi proceed? Should he follow the Kashmir route? Call in Army? Prez rule indefinitely? Should people take matters into their own hands and form militias, civil war is inevitable, it is up to us to choose the most effective path to defend ourselves. Salwa Judum model in certain sensitive districts? Shouldn't there be large enough permanent Army/CRPF presence in Malda, Murshidabad, Dinajpur etc?

Already late but President's rule is the only option left to somehow prevent the destruction of public property for now. Places like Murshidabad, 24 Parganas, Malda, Dinajpur are ticking time-bombs waiting to explode.

700-800 people were arrested in Bengal for bursting crackers on Diwali night past 10 pm...SC orders. Well done TMC.

 

Now someone please answer how many have been arrested for the devastation Bengal is facing. 6 trains set on fire, completely destroyed, 3-4 railways stations torched, railway tracks/crossings vandalized, multiple other vehicles set on fire, looting, targeted violence against a certain community....price of vote-bank politics.

 

Destiny of Bengal was written in stone almost 10 years back when lakhs of Muslims protested in Maidan in favor of Bangladesh's war criminals and the govt, civil society, aam aadmi pretended as if nothing awry had happened in the heart of the city. 

 

I don't see why Bengal shouldn't be treated the same way as Kashmir, will be a huge improvement over Mamata raj.

Being a bong ,its absolutely painful how WB has fallen into the traps of the leftist party for years and the appeasement policies of Muslims. The situation in the state is pathetic to say the least.

From getting easy access to subsidies,caste certificates to scholarships, blocking highways (even NHs) during namaaz ,the muslim community enjoys far more privileges than the hindu community and this has increased in the last 6-7 years .

The demography has changed ,religious superiority has been enforced but our secular weaklings in the state itself bat a blind eye to all of this! 

Ask the common hindu bengalis living in the state , they are getting step brotherly treatment for years now and nowthey realise what they are up against but I am still not hopeful if its enough to bring a shift in the political dimension.
