Selectors....bring back Aaron immediately as he can be an answer to Starc.

I became a big fan of Aaron when I saw him humiliating  broad and English spinning all rounder with beard...

Finally hitting broad and even hitting this guy.

He created a scare...a fear...terror.

It was a win for us then itself.

For the first time I am seeing 3 Indian fast bowlers  ( Shami, Umesh and Ishant  )  combining accuracy and pace.... match after match and  keeping up the pressure from both ends in this season.   Bhuvi is very accurate too.

Need to get Aniket Chaudhary ready as the backup quick and left-arm variation.

And we will be ready for away test matches and a force to reckon with.

Kulwant Khejroliya   today  in VH Trophy     8-1-23-5

He has picked up 13 wickets in  only 5  List A matches so far   at an average of  14.7   and  an economy rate of  only  4.2

He is supposed to be genuinely fast too and a left-armer.    Will we see him as a net bowler in the Team India nets in the near future,  so that Kumble and Kohli can have a look at him and practice against him  ?

Hope he hasn't compromised his pace.....I mean how often do you see Indian pacers capable of ending a player's career by smacking them with pue pace...in this case,Broad's batting career-he went from a bowling allrounder to a typical tailender after Aaron broke his nose.

Aaron bowled this bouncer as if he had measured it to hit broad"s face

2nd Test vs Australia

Speeds of most deliveries ( excluding slower balls )

Umesh      135 k to 148 k

Ishant      135 k to 147 k

Both our pacers bowled really well in this test..... combining accuracy with pace and bowling objectively most of the time.   The pitch was a bit up and down and we saw them, especially Umesh, attack the off stump very regularly. They hit the deck hard and got seam movement too.

They  should  have used the bouncers and surprise short balls more regularly, to create doubts in the mind of the batsmen regarding coming forward confidently.   Some good short balls were bowled by both quicks, which hit the Aussies or made them jump..... but they were too infrequent.

Their superb spells  in the first innings had the Aussies  scoring very slowly. Apart from the 5 wickets they took in the match, there were multiple edges, some catches dropped, dismissals off no-balls etc.

Ishant bowled an expensive over in the 2nd innings but that was an one off thing.

Overall.... they kept up the pressure from their ends more often than not.

Liked the pace which ishant maintained and also bowled full length..unlucky not to get one more lbw.

Umesh was really hitting the stumps and he was lucky to get marsh lbw.

Kohli dropped Smith off umesh.

Shammi is normally better than both.

Ishant does create some scare and discomfort and other bowlers get advantage.

He bowled fuller length and could have got more wickets.

I am sure kumble did instruct him to go fuller.
