Hazelwood took 6 wickets including set Pujara but that was not as match winning because - speed guns.... Hazlewood bowled 135 k to 146 k too. Average speed of 139 k. Genuinely fast. No one denying Hazelwood his credit but that Starc spell was awe-inspiring. Hazelwood himself bowled quick and accurate but without that Starc spell who knows if Rahane and Pujara could still have been batting. Mosher 1 Link to comment

But until Starc came on and took 2 wickets in 2 balls India were in a comfortable position. Those 2 wickets changed everything and Hazelwood's not bowling slow either. He was bowling 140K's with great accuracy. express bowling 1 Link to comment

Gollum
Starc's spell is being over rated here. Karun Nair's stupidity is making him look a lot better than what he is. Prince_ 1 Link to comment

It was a collective brain freeze by our batsmen after a great recovery that has put us in such a difficult position. All the dismissals today could have been avoided if we had been as determined as yesterday. Link to comment

Facing inswinging 154k delivery first up is very difficult because batsmen wont be moving their feet much. He just got one bang on target. Nothing to do with batsman's stupidity. Link to comment

Pujara got one that bounced awkwardly from a length. It was not very easy to bat out there. Link to comment

Did you see Aussies driving in their innings? Link to comment

Pujara's was a soft dismissal after playing so well. May be he panicked seeing the others losing their head. Ishant too drove a good length delivery, criminal on this pitch. Link to comment

That's just his natural technique. You cant curb them too much. Maybe Aussies are better used to playing up and down deliveries as they are used to them in their conditions. Link to comment

Rahane got a inswinging good delivery at 150KPH, Nair got hurried on 154KPH inswinging delivery that could trouble even the best of the batsmen. Pujara got awkward bounce on a low bounce pitch. Ashwin got a grubber that went at ankle height. Link to comment
