If Shami is 100% fit he should play. Its a difficult choice between Umesh and Bhuvi. Both are in very good form. Umesh is the better wicket taker but can be expensive, Bhuvi is more dependable like you said. I feel Bhuvi with his improved death bowling just edges ahead of Umesh.

Give me wickets upfront over better bowling at the death please....

Except not only is Bhuvi bowling seam, he is taking wickets with shorter bowl etc. He outbowled Shami in the warm ups in taking wickets.

I have no idea why you look at past performances when it comes to Bhuvi but not with someone like Yadav whose current form is looked at. As I said, height of being biased. Lets look at past performance of all our batsmen and bowlers vs SA and then choose the team? What has Bumrah done vs SA?

nope Bhuvi was getting wickets when players were trying to hit him , advancing to him. Shami took bowler wickets. But bhuvi is bowling well and seaming as you say gettign bounce, Shami will do it better.

Per Virat, Shami is a great bowler, but the other 3 are more match-fit and ready for ODI cricket.

Surprise bouncer does that to you. Batsmen get out while hitting shots. You can say the same about Starc's wickets then, all 4 batsmen got out trying to hit shots. But speedguns so you guys will jerk off to him

The only fact is - Bhuvi got 6 wickets while Shami did 3 so Shami doing better is something of your speed gun fueled fantasy dreams when facts showed Bhuvi doing better. And not all of his wickets were people hitting out, 2 were caught keeper/slips

Secondly hypocrite keep crying about batsmen taking our bowling apart but if a bowler takes wickets while others are trying to hit, thats a negative point now?

First there is no point of rushing Shami back if the bowling attack is doing well. Let him take his time and recover.

Secondly, sooner or later one of the other bowlers will get injured or do badly and then he can be replaced by Shami.

you should be at peace with other peoples opinions. Shami is a far greater bowler and an asset that Bhuvi, there have been several instances in past where Bhuvi was not up to sratch in difficult circumstances where Shami bailed India out. And now there is very limited speed diff between Bhuvi and Shami anyway so its about skill and execution.
