But just feel he was bowling a bit more fast consistently in finals. Especially the first five overs he bowled. Can you check his average speeds in finals vs other matches. Or are you trying to imply it can happen only because of faulty technique alone ? No other reasons? bumrah is quite good under pressure, so, don't see any other reason.

Most Indian bowlers bowl disciplined in few matches and then suddenly in one or two odd they lose radar. So it has nothing to do with technical parameters.Of course a coach can correct if he a bowler has issues of extras due to action or lost rhythm in run up etc. But then it will be on a fairly consistent basis. Not in one or two odd pressure matches only. Clearly its pressure causing them panic and panic causing extras rather than technical aspects. For god sake even spinners are bowling no balls . How difficult it is for an international bowler to adjust his run up so that his his foot lands in the middle of white line most of the time . I could understand if its happening for the first time . It has happened already in a World event SF once by him. Its been a year since that event . So there was enough time to make the adjustment .

Actually for express pace bowler it is very difficult. Nobody in our team is express pace. Practise is the only solution.

Indian death bowling was absolute crap earlrier and i think this is the only area which has improved quite a lot in the last 12-15 months. What i meant to say was almost all his deliveries are marginal cases. most of time foot lands just couple of inches inside the line . Which i think may have to be looked into by him because in big matches this will spell trouble as margin for committing error is high .

Ponting said the same about him as pointed by BeautifulGame.
StriKe Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 How can you ask for 60% of skippers fees ? Will he be ok if it was done to him when he was skipper?
Cricketics Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 3 hours ago, Pollack said: If you notice bumrah was bowling a bit faster in finals. 142-145+ fairly consistently? It is completely normal to slip ahead when you are looking for extra pace. No, the actualy thing is inconsistency in the run up and the jump. Bumrah has bowled fast at that pace before too, its just that variations, which when he tries to bowl from fast to slow and then back to fast is when he starts to lose his jump and the run up and hence ends up over stepping. This is what needs to be corrected about Bumrah. Its not "slip" but the run up, the speed of the run and the "jump" which has to stay consistent for Bumrah whether he is bowling a slow variation bowl or his regualar stock ball. He needs to develop his slow and fast ball both with similar run up distance and with same speed. The moment you lose consistency, you are likely going to over-step or under-step. Understepping is fine but overstepping is what costs us, and it has cost us twice already.
CG Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 How can you ask for 60% of skippers fees ? Will he be ok if it was done to him when he was skipper? He is asking BCCI to make coach salary 60% of what captain earns,He is not asking to deduct from captain salary. Pollack and GoldenSun 2

I think you are misunderstanding - he's asking for the coach to get the 60% equivalent of the Skipper's fees from BCCI. GoldenSun and Pollack 2
