Having have been a moderator on another forum i know it can be thankless job at times, especially getting rid of the spam auto registered accounts and advertisement posts etc. apart from other admin or moderating duties. I do not agree that the forum is entirely what the posters want to be. I say that because there are genuine posters who do not want to troll or see trolling. The forum is the vision of the founder and the founder with the help of moderation team should ensure the forum environment is not spoiled by letting so many posters troll rampantly. It should not be the case that the trollers decide what the forum turns into, rather the non trollers should be the ones who become the strength of the forum. Otherwise there is no point in having moderators if trolling is to be allowed to such a degree that is observed here. Selecting unbiased moderators is the key. Off course it is also up to the posters to self moderate their posts, but if they do not the moderators have to step in. Ultimately it's the owner of the forum to decide whether he is fine with all this rampant trolling.
