More suggestions : Create two threads 1. Miscellaneous off-topic cricket discussion thread 2. Off-topic posts/spam thread Whenever a members start off-topic discussion and if you don't want to create the separate thread for that, then you can use first thread for that purpose. Second thread is more like a dust-bin. Move all the off-topic useless(harmless) posts or spam posts by users or posts which can invoke fighting or comments on each other to this thread. I guess this will help moderators in keeping threads clean.

Well there are too many varied topics and to bunch them all together may not be a good idea. We do try to merge threads where we can to avoid duplicates, but not when topics are totally irrelevant to each other. Currently in Chit Chat, the Never Ending thread is pretty much used to post off-topic stuff for which a new thread is unnecessary

Vibhash, merging threads is a bad idea. You can't lump everything like that. Not everybody likes to discuss everything about a particular subject. There are certain aspects that I'd be interested in, and I would just participate in those discussions. The present system works.

^ I agree with flamy. The present system works as long as there are not too many threads on the same topic in a short time. e.g. There are a million threads about Bhajji's performances in England - those can be merged together.

I think it would be nice to have one more coloumn next to "Replies" and "Views" titled "yeild". Which is petty much the ratio of replies/views. This might give us information as to where is the action. Or which topics are famous, or which topics make people talk. I understand that this has a flip side where only two people might be contributing to a particular thread and make the replies look huge eg: "Father hate India thread" or "Jokes Thread". But it will be a nice thing to have.

There's some text that is appearing on the top-left corner of the page, when we click the home-button.
