Vk1
That tattoos thing..it's below the belt... straight away accusing of nepotism. And this old guy was hand in glove with everything that Srinivasan did. He was shouting on tv saying there will be investigation by a retired judge, isn't that enough etc crap... Thanks to SC, csk was banned. If it was Gavaskar he would have given clean chit to Meiyappan Link to comment

In T20s, we need career SR at least over 125, preferably some batsmen hitting SR of 135-140 and some 140 plus. The defining factor of a t20 batter is S/R n a great T20 batter is the one who can maintain a good average as well to go with it, Gavaskar doesn't get the modern game and maybe he is dis interested or bias coz Rahane is a Marathi. Rahane should not even be in the ODI squad let alone t20, this format requires players who r dynamic, tattoo n image has nothing to do with performance the numbers don't lie and Rahanes combination of ave and s/r is very poor and is surprising he is still in the team or squad. Do you want Rahanae to be given as many chances to discard him...? Rohit got so many chances also because of chance.... That is he was an irregular player due to the constant breaks that SRT used to take from ODIs in his final years (2009-11). Only after SRT retired and Sehwag declined did Rohit started getting continuous opportunities.... Link to comment

I don't think rahane needs that many chances, because his role is already clear. he's the backup (slowpoke) opener behind dhawan and rohit Link to comment

But many people claim that there are more deserving members who need a chance instead of Rahane... Link to comment

U can see why rohit got so many chances in odis because of his t20 hitting ability. Link to comment
