zubinpepsi Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I think we shud have Jadeja as the spinner.. and bring in an allrounder.. Harbhy shud be dropped....but i know thts not gonna happen...
Sachinism Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 He's not going to be dropped, so no point in thinking up different combinations
Guest Hiten. Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 This is simply ridiculous bowling by him. Why the **** is he so content on drying up the runs when the RRR is in excess of 10 :dontknow:. Jadeja on the other hand has picked his wicket by giving some air in his trajectory. Bhajji is a good bowler but he is stuck in time warp of T20 cricket where contenting runs is sufficient for the captain.
zubinpepsi Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 ^^ its not tht hes containing the runs either... 2 part time spinners out performed him today
cowboysfan Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 very unlikely bhajji will be dropped but ojha will absolutely kill this australian lineup.
ludhianvi Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I think he's in trouble... unless he does something in this series. Ojha and Mishra are waiting in the ranks and not to mention Jadeja. But Dhoni will find it hard to dislodge him.

But Dhoni will find it hard to dislodge him. He's been trying "hard" to dislodge him for the past year. It's about time he gets dropped. He had enough chances.
satishg Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Very disappointing from Bhajji. As the most experienced bowler if you have 1 good match in 10 matches then there is something seriously wrong.

Mr. Wicket Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Ludh in favor of dropping bhajji :omg:... Someone should take ludh's temperature. He may be ill and delirious. Next thing we know he might say something bad about Yuvraj or another Punjabi player.

King Tendulkar Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 No one bumped this thread after yesterday. Wonder why?:winky:
Sooda Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 wicket that gave him plenty of assistance. Thats when he actually does ok, no surprises.
spectre Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 wicket that gave him plenty of assistance. Thats when he actually does ok' date=' no surprises.[/quote'] Still he was no way near Hauritz, Jadeja or even UV sums up his form pathetic to see an Indian frontline spinner dishing out crap everytime he bowls He should be dropped. period
Lord Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Still he was no way near Hauritz, Jadeja or even UV sums up his form pathetic to see an Indian frontline spinner dishing out crap everytime he bowls He should be dropped. period he is going thru a rough patch.but is a quality bowler.dont think he needs to or will be dropped.hes a senior bowler.would get some leverage. Ajay Jadeja(whose analyses i find the best) made a good point about the reason for his bad form.its Chris Broad.Bhajji knows he'll be reprted at slightest opportunity n therefore is afraid to bowl doosras n flight the ball

The Outsider Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 ^ How many doosras have Hauritz and Jadeja been bowling?
Params7 Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 is it safe to say Bhajji is more of a batsmen than a bowler now? :P
ViruRulez Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Bhajji showed some signs of improvement yesterday but he is still not bowling to even 30% of what we have seen him bowl. Hope that he gets back his bowling form. Regarding dropping him that is merely impossible as he is batting a lot better than most of our batsmen. Frankly speaking he is nowadays playing Veeru sort of innings and that too outside of powerplay overs. We have seen the improvement in his batting and he is very nearly turning into a big hitter. Sometimes, he seems to be hitting better than Veeru considering the fact that Veeru bats in power play overs whereas Bhajji bats mostly in non-P P overs. Although it sounds absurd but if Bhajji is sent during the first 15 overs with Veeru someday then hell might break loose on the opponents. :giggle: Coming back to topic, we cannot drop him just because he has improved tremendously as a batsman.
