Although this awesome moment comes up with the annoying side effect of pompous Chennai-chandus forever and ever claiming their crowd as the "most knowledgeable" yada yada yada. That claim is about as valid as the building permits for that hideous empty stand they have in the stadium. NameGoesHere 1

A batting lineup with Greenidge, Richards, Clive Llyod and Gomes. Bowling Roberts, Garner, Marshall and Holding. There has never been a team as talented as that in history of cricket. Srikanth top scoring with 38 against that bowling where Sunil failed. Mohinder showing nothing but guts. I was fortunate to see this most of these windies players in the stadium. Andy Roberts was the fastest bowler those days and it was a nightmare to see Llyod and Richards batting. These two were the hardest hitters of the balls and the cleanest. That is a win and that is why Kapil Dev was the best India ever had. Madan Lal and Mohinder with their gentle medium stuf were amazing. Madan Lal I used to watch practise at Nationa Stadium and bowling for hrs to a single wicket at the nets. Bunch of average players playing as a true team beat the best collection of players ever.
