We cant have enough of allrounders. I think he can be tried definitely. He is more than decent. Having said that, I don't rate Shankar badly either. We seem to be having a good pool of fast bowlers, and now we have a few decent pace bowling allrounders. The selectors need to play smart and keep rotating all these players. themask and express bowling 2
