Jadeja, Ashwin, Saha - Rahane's recent performances are at their level. 28 is way too poor for a specialist bat.

I watched him bat yesterday. Rahane has himself to blame guy had gone in a shell and playing for time when pujara was looking for singles. He is responsible for his and pujara wicket.

That's what happens when team shows confidence in Rohit and not in him.

He should be benched whenever we play in India. If we can have horses for courses policy for bowlers, batsmen shouldn't be treated differently. IMO Che should never play in SENA countries while Rahane should be a sure starter in those places. Converse in Asia, especially India.

Its laughable to pin Rahanes inability to play any kind of spin on a man who isnt even in team. Rahane and not Ashwin is leading test side in the absence of kohli so lets not term it a loss of confidence due to lack of faith nonsense.
