yes thats the concern but sadly their is no other death bowler specialist i can think of

thampi has good yorker but is highly inconsistent

It seems it has become a tradition in Indian Cricket it started with Stuart Binny shocking how he ended up playing test matches for India despite being useless after him we had Jaydev Unadkat now the legacy continues with Axar Patel .

Please don't beat me up but I would have like Krishnappa Gowtham over Axar Patel in ODIs.
Gowtham atleast did something in IPL but Axar is a flop.
Krunal merits his selection.
He has worked hard towards it.

Chahar is consistently getting wickets. We need a wicket taker even if he goes for runs. He is good with both. IPL has rediscovered him.

the problem is he is a good replacement for bhuvi but not bumrah, actually not being harsh on him i doubt we wud even a find a replacement of bumrah. Only one potential is thampi and he needs some time

Axar has performed better than Gowtham in this A tour.Infact, he is our best spinner in this tour.Not a big fan him, but you have to give credit where it is due.
