He is pro-whoever is in power.
However, right now BJP is strong so Dhoni might lean more towards being a bjpian.

Most bollywood and cricketers are pro-BJP. That's a fact....

The anti-Modi people make a lot of noises, and that is wrongly interpreted as the industry voice.

Nah, Bollywood is mostly Leftist-Liberal leaning.

However, a lot of cricketer lean towards BJP to gain government favours though both of the industries have largely neutral, fair-weather people hanging around

Which is pretty shocking because Both Bollywood and cricket are run by Dawood Bhai!!!
Kohli is toh managed by a guy who is linked to people in Dawood's inner circle.
Maybe this is a secret pact between Indian Government and D company?
Who knows.

He should start his own party secretly backed by BJP. Then he can win 2-3 seats in Tamil Nadu and 2-3 in Jharkhand.

5-6 seats and one ministerial berth in 2024 or 2029.

he can win 2-3 seats in chennai alone ..

he will be a kingmaker if he can corner 3/4% of the votes ..

@velu @ Trichromatic:
Isn't Rajnikanth already doing that in tamil Nadu?
Even AIADMK is severely playing into Mota Bhai's hands.
I am open to fights here, but what I have noticed is Dhoni has a much bigger fanbase among Tamils than in his native state Jharkhand.

it is very difficult to dislodge dmk or admk ..

rajni or kamal can become minor players and it will be very difficult for them  take these parties head on..

anyway TN cricket fans are more knowledgeable , probably thats why they like dhoni..

some dumbass minorities like sachin as well like @JaFanatic   :phehe:

That's actually incorrect. Firstly pre-2014, it was taboo to even share stage with Modi, let alone praise him. Remember how there were protests against Lata and getting back the Bharat Ratna when she supported Modi for PM. That was the real hatred.

It's only after 2014, we are seeing more Modi supporters coming out open. And the party itself has a longer list of Bollywood stars backing it.

Currently BJP is backing AIADMK after Jaya's death it seems.
You obviously understand the political enviroment of your state way better than me so I hope you help me out in this.
Kamal will never gain platform with his controversial statements and attitude.
Rajni... I don't know.
Tamils seem to love him but I also don't feel he will much success in politics

I don't know he is good or not, behind all the politicking and blah blah blah, Dhoni is a nice person
He does have an inflated ego but treats normal people normally.
People who have interacted with him have good memories of him, including me.
He is very charming and I can't help but like him.

bjp is just bullying admk and taking advantage of the crisis in admk .. we can also say that bjp is keeping the admk safe by backing them

kamal is a non entity in politics..

rajni can gain 4-5% vote share without doing anything .. i dont see any party challenging dmk or admk in the foreseeable future
