Unless you are Warne or Murali, the chances of a spinner being successful in conditions suited to pacers are less .... But Ind’s first choice for pace bowlers to partner Shami - Bhuvi and Shami, are not available. Ishant and Yadav are inconsistent as seen by Ishant’s performance. Theoretically, Yadav would have worked better than either Kuldeep or Ashwin, and should have been chosen but on the ground, he could have disappointed like Ishant did .... The better option is to fly in a couple of young pacers if Bhuvi and Bumrah are not expected to be back soon

I know Pandya avg mid 20's in FC, if that makes him a batting A/R then God save India.

Pick the batting A/R odd one out, from the following - Sobers, Cairns, Kallis, Flintoff, Watson, Stokes, Pandya

 

Pandya could and probably will improve his test credentials, is this the stage to try him out? If you can discard people with a test record, like Pujara and Rahane, for hacks like Dhawan and Sharma then what's the pedigree of Hardik that always keeps him in the team and the world's 3rd best test bowler out?

 

Bowling 140k doesn't count, nor picking up cheap wickets when the lead has crossed 200

I rate some of his performances in the past, like 93 in SA when the game was open, not this one!

Even with out rain.Spinners have not done too well at lords.Two Spinners will never work overseas unless it's an turner.India Has to play 4 Pacers everytime.
