express bowling Posted February 2, 2025 Author Posted February 2, 2025 Very very very impressed with Abhishek Sharma's hitting ability He is hitting 145 k+ deliveries for fun on a bouncy Mumbai track. So many 6s. Hitting 6s off spinners too. Ideal T20 mindset and T20 ability. Can succeed in ODIs too I will pick him for Champions Trophy after niggling out Kohli or Rohit or both. Mosher 1

express bowling Posted July 3, 2025 Author Posted July 3, 2025 (edited) Amazing innings of 269 by Gill ! Pitch maybe flat but the Indian team is under tremendous pressure to perform. We were 5 down for 211 and we would have crumbled if Gill fell. Captaincy seems to be bringing the best out of him. His attitude and sense of responsibility has improved a lot. He wants to bat on and on. Gill's footwork, especially the movement of his front foot and forward defense, has become much better. He is not plonking his front foot like earlier but moving with the ball. His sense of where his off stump is has improved too. Liking it a lot. He was our best T20 batter averaging 36 with a SR of 164 and was dropped! Selectors are trying their best to destroy Jaiswal just to protect 40 year old has beens. At the very least they could've made an exception for Jaiswal and added one more spot in the squad so he could be part of the squad. You don't drop a guy averaging 71 with 2 100s in 6 matches! Take him with you on the tour and let him be part of the team. If ECB doesn't want to pay for the extra spot, let BCCI pay for him. This is a case study in how not to manage players, especially the upcoming talented youngsters.
