     Just goes to show  how things are run by team management and how players get treated if they are not in good books of that 

      Arrogant  Idiot for all skills .

      The least they should do is list out the areas to be improved , have a clear communication back to selectors and release him

      from the 15 . 

       He can go back and involve in matches to rectify. 

       This is how things are done in any other international team .

I feel sad for the young batsmen of India now.

 

There seems to be a strong attempt by the team management to protect all the IPL superstars, most of whom are batsmen 

 

Anyone who may pose a risk to these superstars or has replaced a superstar ... is being left out of the team.

 

Be it Nair in tests or Pant in ODIs.

 

This is resulting in a lot of mediocre batsmen coming in the squad.

 

This article clearly stated that Nair has got a raw deal because he replaced favourite Rohit in the squad.  Makes sense.

 

The selectors have been very bold this time and left out Dhawan, Rohit and Vijay.  This will force deserving youngsters to get games.  Well done  !

The reason they didn't communicate with him is there were no valid reasons to give and this would expose their shortcomings. It's good that the media has started to take notice of it and how the selectors usually operate.

     Thats the only way out . Jut do not include those super stars in the team 15. 

      At the most captain can veto for 1 player . Thas fine . Let him do that .

      Selectors were making the mistake of including players of TM preference most of the time , so when time for selecting 11 came, it was clear who will make it.

     Looking at fate of  2 Karnataka guys ...  does it have a link to Kumble saga ?

     Mind you both were in team 15 when Kumble was coach & then  removed .

Even Rohit and Dhawan has been kicked out of Test team.
But yes-there is a lot of power game going on and that's pretty much evident

 proven hack Pujara in the team despite playing 6 or 7 series in SENA and having utter mediocre career track record  in these countries!!!!!!!!. A triple centurion Karun  only getting chance of just  4 inns , immediately after hitting  that 300+ !!!!!!

What more it is needed to prove the incompetency level of this team management?????

Finally the useless trio oldies Dhawan, Vijay and Rohit have been dropped from tests. I think id prefer Saha to be told to retire gracefully and Pant to cement his place. Also Shaw, Agarwal (Opening positions), Vihari, Nair, Gill ( Middle order) should be blooded once Pujara and Rahane are also dropped for ever.

Test team and odi teams should be under separate set of specialist management and captains.

Look at English. They have different  8-9 players. There are always talks around dropping Root from odi squad.
