vvvslaxman Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Ross is better than white' date=' people think white is an all rounder but he wil not bowl and his batting is much less consistent than Ross.[/quote'] Agree. White smashed these useless Pakistan bowlers all over the park. White's strike rates were very poor in some of the ODIs. Taylor is much more dangerous player.
Clarke Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Ross is better than white' date=' people think white is an all rounder but he wil not bowl and his batting is much less consistent than Ross.[/quote'] No offense to Taylor's fans but Cameron is every bit as good as Taylor is @ current form http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/player/38699.html?class=3;template=results;type=batting;view=innings 13 matches with 150 SR and 43 avg which includes that cracking 64 from 26 against NZ this Feb. He may not have performed in 2008 but this time he's a different man altogether.
Serani Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 They are basically the same player, both play slogs to the leg side however Taylor is more proven. KP is a cut above both of them either way.
cowboysfan Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 BTW what happened to steven smith?.i thought he would be with the team by now.he was very good in the chicken tournament.
zubinpepsi Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 BRC is the team to beat.... they are on a roll. MI and BRC are the sure shot finalists in this IPL
Serani Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 BTW what happened to steven smith?.i thought he would be with the team by now.he was very good in the chicken tournament. Foreign players that are unproven dont really stand a chance of playing in the IPL.
flamy Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 BRC is the team to beat.... they are on a roll. MI and BRC are the sure shot finalists in this IPL Ayuthu bilalo!

coffee_rules Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Odds for brc is more. But I don't think they are safe yet. 6 more matches, they have to win atleast 4 out of it to safely qualify

gaurav92 Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Odds for brc is more. But I don't think they are safe yet. 6 more matches' date=' they have to win atleast 4 out of it to safely qualify[/quote'] No, they just need three wins out of the remaining 6 games, so its nice and easy to bet on them reaching the semis.

Guest DeveGowda Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Guys no need of drastic changes....Taylor will replace White next match... Once we are in Safe zone..then we can give chance to others... Only problem is Openers...we cant blame Kallis toomuch...he is playing his role..but problem with manish..he is playing same as kallis thats waht costing us...if manish played @ SR of 140..and we get a good start in PP we will be in verygood position After 2 more matches may have to change opening...can promote Utthappa in place of Manish..Any way we have KP & Ross @ down to take care of RR..
