He had temper issues.. he got all riled up that Raina and Rohit who were not in his class as batsmen during the under 19 years have started their careers in the international team where as he is stuck with the first class level.

 

Another problem in Indian cricket is that there are certain grounds which overwhelmingly favour either batsmen or the bowlers. Like the Rajkot, where jaddu plays favours FTB batsmen and the conditions in Punjab, Haryana favour swing bowlers. Here even a trundler like Mohit Sharma can look like Malcolm Marshall. The scouting system within the bcci is very lazy and they don't look beyond the end of season stats. They see a batsmen with a 55+AVG from rajkot or Mumbai and he is selected automatically. They see a trundler with a 22 AVG in swinging conditions and he is brought in too. Rayudu played in hyd which at that time wasn't exactly batsman friendly and he was stuck within the 45 batting AVG mark and he was overlooked until 2007.

 

Despite pleas from senior cricket player jaisimha, he went ahead and signed up with the ICL which was like joining shakthiman and friends league because the avengers were already full. 

 

All in all, the greatest quality of the greatest batsmen is persisting despite any number of difficulties coming their way. That's how SRT, rsd, kohli made it big and biriyani lacks this quality.

after this match robin singh ,then the u19 coach, praised him as the one to watch out for and the media then hyped it up as the new teenage sensation.

It must have been this knock. It was an exceptional knock.

Sky Sports for some reason showed this series live and I can assure you it was a treat watching Rayudu run down and smash the bowlers when India were all but out of the game

First of all who the Fck were these ppl who compared him to sachin, have u even seen sachin bat. If sachin held the bat with his feet he still wud have been way more elegant then him

His batting style is more closure  to dhongi. Both looks ugly with bat in hand ,difference is Rayadu looks ugly even without Bat.

Rayudu has midget arms; not his fault. Unfortunately midget arms doesn’t work for most sports other than pretending to be a T-Rex.
