Agreed. we have 6-8 talented 140kmph pacers who just played or will play for India. Siraj, mavi, saini, avesh, rajpoot, aniket, nathu, aaron, koti etc
But, For a country like India, 3-4 mcgills/kuldeeps, 2 jadejas, 2 ashwins should be always available as reserves.
But our Indian A spinners are 30 year old half-decent late-bloomers like gowtham, nadeem.

LOL we are talking about top flight sports. Not so easy to have those many world class players waiting in the wings. Players have to be groomed, you'll hardly get someone who is so naturally gifted that he can succeed in int'l cricket right from the start.

TBH, you need good fast bowlers to win tests overseas.  Most of the domestic spinners can do well at home.  So what spinners we have in domestic does not matter, tbh. They most are good enough to win us games at home.

We can say that as long as swann/monty is not visiting us. Reality check hit us hard that time.

Pak is experiencing that currently, inspite of having yasir.

Quality spinner matters at home as well as overseas, lyon has shown us.

I am taking about potential kuldeep, mcgills. Dont we have 8-10 talented pacers?

For a country of 1.3 billion, 36 first class teams and strong spin bowling legacy, expecting 8-10 quality spin talents is not a big ask.

Lyon is bowling at home, not overseas. Regarding swann and monty, monty hasn't done anything outside of that series. He just got lucky bowling to a has been indian batting.

But monty completely outshone ojha in terms of quality. With stronger punjabi shoulders he was getting rip and bounce at good pace 85+ kmph.
Lyon has done well everywhere except UAE in limited opportunities.

You should compare Monty to Jadeja, not Ojha. Both are different kind of bowlers even if left arm.

Lyonn has bowled well in India as well. And frankly he looked much better than Ashwin in last 2 years. He get more turn and bounce and very consistent with his line and length.

Ashutosh Aman A 32 year old SLA playing for Bihar. Mind biggling stats in his first 5 FC games - 7 innings, 31 wickets, bowling average of 6, strike rate of 17, 4 5-ers and 2 10-ers!!

Where was he all this while? Could have played for Jharkhand

records from plate league must be taken with a pinch of salt. Pacer Deepak Dhapola from uttarajhand has 37 wickets from 4 matches averaging 9.  Standards of these teams could be worse club level but guys like Dhapola who have played competitive cricket where club teams have better standards than these plate teams are getting benefited.  Dhapola is coached by Kohli's coach Rajkumar and has played club cricket in Delhi and was on the verge of Ranji team as well at times but being an outsider, it it is not easy to make the team.

Get what you are saying but if that was the case every bowler should be having similar numbers. For someone to have those kind of stats is amusing. Never seen anything like this in 25 years of following domestic cricket. Has to be something good/mysterious  about him that he's almost unplayable.

already gave you the stats of seamer deepak Dhapola who has 37 wickets from 4 games at an average of 9.

And what does that prove? Why have Samar Quadri or Harmeet Singh or Bipul Sharma - established FC players - not done as well against those club level sides?

how does that matter? It is a similar argument people present in favor of Bradman.  Like why did others playing along Bradman did not not average 99 if that era had poor standards?  In plate group Ishwar Chaudhary who previously played for Gujarat also has 29 wickets in 6th match going on, Gurinder Singh who previously played for Punjab has 34 wickets 6th game going on.
