Always a fan of KKD even before he made the international debut. I remember his first Test innings where he made 10 in a very low scoring match. He hit Gillespie for couple of 4s. Commie Ian chappell said "Anyone who plays such an on drive must be a special player. IT is such a tough shot to execute".  Yes he had that stroke range which you normally associate with very high class batsmen.

He used that to good effect inconsistently at the start of his career. We though he would evolve. But over a period his concentration lapses kept hurting him. Even now he does some kind of ritual to calm himself before the innings. Then Dhoni happened. There was a reason why he even played as a specialist bat. Because he was good with no real weakness like you would see with Raina, Yuvraj.  He could play spin, pace, bounce.  But until last few years even his domestic form was inconsistent. Then he turned around TN's fortunes with so many crisis knocks. NOt sure if personal problems had anything to do with it, but he did great injustice to his potential. He may not play more than an year or two from here on. Hope he is able to do some justice to his talent before he retires.

gradually I see all of kkr squad in limites overs team. Kkd,gill,kuldeep,mavi,prasidh krishna( he just needs to keep calm in end overs. He has a whippy yorker).

There is a deluge of support for Karthik in Twitter . Hope he is selected for ODI series .. personal take is Kohli is biased against DK. Why else would you bring in pappu Patel as back up in tests.

He is probably the best shotmaker we've had since Yuvraj.

Problem is team management drafted him in Tests and out of position in ODI's 

This has set his career back and probably wont make it to the WC

Agree.. he is the only batsman in current setup who can bat between 4-6 though he is more suited for number 5 or 6 . 4 is just emergency. Right now number 4 is between rayudu and Manish. KL experiment needs to stop .
