How are benchwarmers paid? Like the player who KXIP bought for million dollar, will he be paid as he plays or he will be paid even if he warms the bench for all season and what about players who get injured mid-tournament?

Depends whether they are dealing with GM or other franchisees.

I guess they are paid based on matches they are available for irrespective of finding a place in the playing 11 

 

So if the games played are 10 for e.g. and you are available for 5 games, you would get 50% of your compensation and so on

Also if someone is bought real cheap. Like a 19 year old upcoming batsman bought for just peanuts. Then, he turns out to be probably the next yuvraj Singh. So, will he have to work for peanuts for the next two years?
