What's worse is we're giving A-grade exposure to Indian pitches/conditions and bowlers to foreign batsmen and they improve their game and they finally give it back with interest against India in ICC events. West Indies have won it twice and they could have done it a 3rd time if rain didn't spoil it in 2014. And Most west indies players play IPL generally very well. It's all there to see for oneself. Even I'm considering the west Indies as firm favorites for the T20 WC next year. I'm not talking about home test record here. Most of the players play IPL and they have no patience for the long game. Even Pujara is enamored by the big bucks IPL offers and keeps giving interviews that he likes to play shorter formats. You are purely talking about skills here and Windes players have better skills in T20 cricket than any other country and they globe trot to hone their skills, its not as if only IPL gives them a chance to become better players.
