And, I've seen him get hold out a couple of times within the inner circle playing the hook. He is a steady batsman. He is not an uber aggressive batsman or he doen't have that extra gear that Rohit has. He is definitely a player who can play long innings. But right role has to be assigned.

And in this IPL, he has been among the high SR batsmen. That could be the reason .... Overall, he is a good player of pace and spin from what I have seen including in tests and a few T20s Edited April 20, 2019 by zen velu 1

Forward Defence Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Ashwin vs Dhawan will be interesting. Hope Dhawan stays off the sweep

zen Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Drop (not sure if it can be counted as a drop) Dhawan and there is a good chance that he will make you pay

Zelig Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Is there any other sport where unintentional plays get rewarded like in cricket?

vvvslaxman Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 It was a below par total. PKXI only hope was DC's self destruction. If Dhawan had gotten out probably it would have still happened.
