If you paint a wall a different color...you pay for that wall to be repainted when you leave . Not to mention ,the subsidized house is more often than not, pretty substandard. It does sir. Govt charges 200 rs per month for a flat which otherwise will rent out for 25k per month. Bills etc I have myself paid standing in lines. No perks on that front unless you are staying in a mess. yes there is a move in and move out inspection. Mostly closed over bottles of rum. Houses are substandard yes, but not localities. They are in prime locations.

That’s another perk. Commercial vehicles pay duty to govt for running on roads. Cantonments are maintained by cantonment boards and they need to maintain the roads if heavy commercial vehicles run on the road. Pretty fair to charge duty.

Like sage said, imagine one of the team had the black flag of isis imprimented on their kit, would you be ok with that? To some, its ok to support them, to me and you, it's not.
