he is not participating in WC T20 (IF i'M right he was removed from T20 as well as he asked selector he doesn't see himself playing T20 WC again)

He was "rested" from T20I and promptly brought back! If we win the world cup, then the chorus will grow louder for him to stay on. Even if we don't win the cup, his superstar status is such that he can easily stay on for a few months and the selectors won't dare to tell him to step down. There won't be any immediate threat to his place following the world cup. For sentimental reasons, he will be allowed to linger on. All he needs to do is stay on for a few months and then he will be in the plans for the T20 WC. The "world cup is just months away and his experience plus wealth of knowledge adds great value to the side" tagline will gather very, very strong momentum. Basically, it's totally his choice if and when he retires from international cricket.
