Light rain with chances of thunderstorm and windy conditions predicted for next Thursday..One good thing is then the toss goes for a toss as rain helps skid the ball through to the batsmen and winning toss batting first will not essentially mean a cakewalk for any team..in addition its going to rain whole day wednesday so the pitch wont be so dry...

Not sure how many actually watched it but WC '99 India - England game went on for 2 days. Rules were different back then, if game was interrupted by rain then it would start right where it was stopped previous day.  We got them all out second morning.

Yes Ganguly was the hero..and I guess srinath got Thorpe out on 36 with a  yorker which was missing leg stump by a feet and a pakistani umpire gave that out..
