Cricket is both a winner and a loser today. I can understand the deflection of stokes bat for 4, but simply can't understand why they could not play on until a winner came out on top. You decide a cup based on number of boundaries?????

easily the best ... surpassing the 1999 world cup semi ..... it seemed as if some divine  involvement was going on thru out the match.

ENG chasing ...reduced to 70 for 4 some thing.... then that partnership,  then Butler getting out, Stokes  hitting those sixes & that deflection of his hand to boundary, those last 2 run outs, then the super over and that too ending with score tied...!!!!!!!!!!.  simply  unbelievable...

I concur. Best ODI match ever and the best world cup finals ever. Brought the best and worst out of both teams.
