Apparently sehwag,moody,mahela have applied or showed interest.Mahela is good choice.

Thaila should retire ASAP and should stay with the team as a mentor giving "tips and advices" to youngsters. 

 

But , he should be kept as far away as possible from team selection.

we all know what bangar is around for... not for teaching batting in bowling-friendly conditions for sure.

yep, lots of great cricketers are terrible coaches and vice-versa. of course there are some good coaches who were also good cricketers and others who were bad at both.
