There are plenty of problems in both our countries - would you accept arguments for Karachi to become independent from pakistan, because the Pak govt has allowed infrastructure to decay?  How does Pakistan treat the Baloch who demand independence?  Forget independence, the PTM which is claiming Pashtun rights under Pak constitution is being mistreated.  

 

As an Indian, as a human being, I have no problem saying that any injustice or injury to Kashmiris is a tragedy. But why do the Kashmiris seek to re-do Partition?  Why rebel against your country?  the answer is only one - religion.  The time to carve out countries based on religion is over - its already proved flawed, just look at Bangladesh and you will have your answer.   India, or no other country, can allow give in to separatist demands.   Even in the American civil war, the southern states wanted "azaadi" so that they could keep owning human slaves - it was very popular cause - but their rebellion was crushed with guns and bombs.  Kashmiris are not justified in demanding "special" treatment.   It is time to join the rest of the  world, and live as citizens of a normal civilized country with secular laws.

Looks like India has given serious ultimatum to China. Either you are with us or against us. I hope Chinese understand what is at stake when it comes to kashmir
