First the kudankulam nuclear plant and then this. I have seen the cnn coverage of the mumbai 26/11. One policeman was shooting over the wall without looking who he was shooting against. What if there was a hostage on the other side of the wall. Eff em right. I was like wow how dumb are these security people. My friends had the same opinion

My friends had the same opinion Same security personnel have kept us safer these last 5 years compared to developed Western nations. With 200 million Muslims in India, radicalization, Kashmir problem, Pak/Afg/BD as neighbors, illegal migrants, political patronage to jihadis, corruption, underfunding, fifth column etc don't you think they must be doing something right? In 2000s there would be weekly bomb blasts in our cities, now the problem is limited to Kashmir, Naxal belt and some NE regions. Our agencies have been proactive when it comes to nipping problems in the bud, who knows how many major terror plots have been busted by them? It is a thankless job really, they might prevent 99 attacks and then when one slips through that's all we remember them for. Edited November 2, 2019 by Gollum Laaloo 1
