Basically, teams can substitute a player from outside their XI, in crucial stages of the match, after a wicket falls or even at the end of an over without wicket falling

Great opportunity for governing council to send in the right character and alter the script if things are not going to plan. 

 

It is almost like governing council's version of don't forget the script :)

Interesting idea. If it works out well and is popular, we could see it at the WT20. 

 

I would prefer an option for Injury Replacement in match. If a player gets injured during the match, the team should have an option to replace the injured player with another. I don't see why some teams are forced to play with one less batsman or one less bowler due to luck. That goes for all cricket formats. It's not as big an issue in IPL, but in tests its a big deal
