one of the  several proofs of inept captaincy of Kohli. Well criticized by Mr: Gavaskar.    Kohli feels that his captaincy is almost flawless. He should keep in mind that India  won in ENG,  drew in AUS,  lost to the GOAT WI team by  only 2-0, drew in PAK against a much superior team  etc etc  with a much  inferior over all team .

He almost took a dig at Kohli for saying "It all started with Dada" lol  He didn't like that comment. So he was talking about how India won in England, competed in Australia in the 70s, 80s.

Dada's legacy was empowering the team, making his team believe and being the maverick and building a solid team, Kohli lacks in the last part

I have to agree with Kohli here. Dada was the point of inflection in Indian cricket. Gavaskar was petty and a regional minded person whereas Dada had no such biases. Dada also was good at giving it back. Kohli is absolutely correct in saying that it all started with dada because it did start with Dada. He gave the team backbone and courage.
