It is the effect of Saturns transit in Saggitarius.  Saturn completes one circle of the zodiac in 30 years. 

 

30 years ago in 89/90 we faced similar economic nightmare. The liberalization policies of 91 under Narasimha garu made India grow very fast next few years.

 

Similarly 30 years before 1989/90 I.e 1959/60 we faced similar economic nightmare.

 

So please don’t blame BJP. It is cyclical effect of Saturn’s transit on India’s horoscope.
